"I am learning to understand rather than immediately judge or to be judged. I cannot blindly follow the crowd and accept their approach. I will not allow myself to indulge in the usual manipulating game of role creation. Fortunately for me, my self-knowledge has transcended that and I have come to understand that life is best to be lived and not to be conceptualized. I am happy because I am growing daily and I am honestly not knowing where the limit lies. To be certain, every day there can be a revelation or a new discovery. I treasure the memory of the past misfortunes. It has added more to my bank of fortitude." ~Bruce Lee

Supermarket I love you so
How grateful I am to get to go I spend much time among the plants Leaves and fruits put me in a trance Free samples served by sushi pimps When there’s a coupon, I catch a glimpse Milk of coconuts, almonds, and soy A bit of discretion I must employ Breads and cookies, a carbo delight I stopped drinking, but the wine is out of sight Topo Chico on my shopping list Oh no, a raincheck! I’m pissed Cheaper than Whole Foods is HEB But with less womanly eye candy to see The deal of the week gives me tons of shit for free But they have no Yerba Mate tea Nonetheless, it’s cheaper to shop When my list doesn’t have trendiness at the top I could hang out here till i drop But it’s time to check out now and stop "The natural resources of our planet are limited. Therefore, it is our duty to leave enough of them to future generations. But we do not do so. We use up natural wealth more and more rapidly, and there is already a serious shortage of several important raw materials. The sowing of waste will be the reaping of want. However, nobody else but ourselves will reap what we have sown, because the yet unborn people of the future are ourselves in new incarnations. Such is the implacable justice of the law of reaping." ~Lars Adelskogh
Oh the games of online meeting
Words and pictures, feelings fleeting It’s hard to build a solid base When there is just a still-frame face Managing a false facade While living from a matrix pod The carrot dangles; illusion stands Until a meeting on physical lands Hopes stay low as the game goes on With only so much to act upon Peering at an electronic device It’s only natural to think twice With intuition as the only advice |
